忘れ去られていく

青森を中心に東北を巡る撮影は足掛け10年に及びました。少しづつ朽ちていくその姿を正面から捉え、同時にその美しさも表した作品にしたつもりです。

その写真の集大成をアメリカのモンタナ州で毎年3月に開催される「2023 chico revew」に応募。世界中の数千人の応募の中から63人が選ばれます。そのうちの一人として選出され招待され参加しました。

I spent nearly ten years photographing the Tohoku region, with Aomori at its center. As the landscapes slowly decayed over time, I tried to capture them head‑on while also revealing the quiet beauty within that transformation.

I submitted this body of work to the “2023 Chico Review,” held every March in Montana, USA. Out of thousands of submissions from around the world, only 63 photographers were selected. I was honored to be chosen as one of them and invited to participate.
